Solar power is the basis for all life on earth. The radiation emitted from our sun reaches the Earth's surface at a peak rate of about 1,000 W/m². For centuries, humans make use of solar radiation and several solar technologies have been developed (e.g. to provide light, heat, or to produce electricity). In recent years, with depleting fossil fuel resources, the importance of solar power as an alternative energy source has increased dramatically. The goal of Thai Solar Power is to promote solar energy usage in Thailand. Thai Solar Power is not related to government organizations or companies. There are three major topics we want to introduce to interested audience:
